Employee Responsibilities

All JP PAT Testing team members are expected to:

  • Take reasonable care of their own health and safety, and that of others.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, training, and guidance provided.
  • Report any hazards, accidents, or near-misses to management immediately.

Management Responsibilities

Our management team will:

  • Provide and maintain safe working conditions and equipment.
  • Ensure all operatives are trained and competent to carry out their work safely.
  • Carry out regular risk assessments and update safety protocols accordingly.
  • Supply appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.

On-Site Safety

While working at client premises, we will:

  • Conduct a site-specific risk assessment before beginning any work.
  • Ensure minimal disruption to the workplace.
  • Adhere to all site-specific safety requirements and cooperate with client health and safety procedures.

Electrical Safety

  • All PAT testing will be conducted in line with the latest IET Code of Practice.
  • Unsafe equipment will be clearly labelled and reported to the responsible person on site.
  • Only calibrated equipment will be used by qualified testers.

Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed annually or whenever significant changes occur in legislation, company procedures, or operational practices.
